How We Got Started

In 2005, Canton Kitchens was founded upon the basic premise of offering clients great service and quality products consistently and in a timely manner to suit any budget. We have grown to become one of the most reputable Baltimore kitchen design specialists in the Tri-State area, leading hundreds of kitchen remodel projects for clients. We bring just the the right balance of function and style into our designs. We offer expert and extensive design, which accompanies our lines of cabinetry, countertops and hardware for any room in your home. We offer semi-custom to full custom cabinetry to home owners, contractors and independent designers alike.

Canton Kitchens will work with you to custom design any space in your home that requires cabinetry and countertops. We can create a clean, contemporary look or a traditional, classic style. We represent Kraftmaid, Medallion, Quality, Ultracraft, Fabuwood and Wolf Classic. These lines offer a wide range of styles, stains, paints and glazes to suit any budget. We also feature a full range of countertop surfaces and decorative hardware.

Scott began his career designing custom kitchens and baths after receiving his B.S. in Architecture in 1992. Becoming a Kitchen Designer has allowed him to utilize his architectural design training with his customer service background; and the combination has served him well. Kitchen designers are, at their core, “problem solvers”. The privilege of helping clients solve their unique design and budget challenges is what has kept Scott in the Kitchen & Bath Design industry for over 30 years. Scott is equally comfortable working with first-time homebuyers, contractors, builders, installers, and other industry professionals; and he enjoys being able to communicate with each of them on their own terms.

In architecture, the simplistic debate is “form vs function”…. which is more important? Scott is a believer in “function first”. His philosophy is “who cares how nice it looks if it doesn’t work?”. The foundation of any successful job is a design that “functions properly”, and he takes great pride in turning that difficult project into a beautiful…. and beautifully functioning, solution for each unique client.

Kim has been servicing MD, DE, and PA since 2001. She has a strong passion for designing beautiful and functional spaces. Each project is different. Kim takes the time to ask questions, listen to her client’s needs, and educate them. She has experience in designing kitchens, bathrooms, offices, bars and closets. Whether you are building a custom home, remodeling, or putting an addition on your home, she can help.

Rob has enjoyed designing spaces since 2005. His career began manufacturing cabinetry and counters, installing, and remodeling kitchens for the first 6 years. This experience provided a wealth of knowledge, along with an eye for detail that helps bring projects to life at any price point. He is known for a very hands on approach with his clients to help ensure a smooth project.
