Kitchen Design Process

Kitchen Design Consultation Baltimore MD

Kitchen Design Consultation

Kitchen design should be a completely unique experience for each client. We start with an interview to help us understand what your needs and tastes are. We might ask about your family dynamics, lifestyle and routines. We welcome your photos, ideas and wish lists to maintain a collaborative effort throughout the project. These could include style, color preferences, finishes, etc.

We will measure the existing space and photograph the existing structure unless the project is still under construction. If the project is under construction we will use floor plans from your contractor. The project designer will then take the information and compile a preliminary design for your review.

If you have a budget established already, we will design according to those parameters. If you don’t have a budget established we will help you define one based on the consultation. We are here to help you make choices that deliver the best value while still meeting your needs.

With an understanding of your design wants, we will compile a preliminary design for your review along with an estimate and contract. Once the contract has been signed, we will nail down all the final details and make any necessary changes. We will present final designs and written specifications for your approval. This process will vary from project to project depending on complexity and how quickly decisions can be made.
